I gently walked into the silent library. I looked around, but no-one was there. I thought I was meant to be meeting someone. So I slowly walked to the door, but suddenly the door slammed close. I didn’t know what to do.
“Aaaaaaahhhh!”
Then a creepy voice asked, “How can I help you!”
The voice was croaky and I didn’t even try to go to the door, because who knew what the voice would say next! Then suddenly a face appeared in a mirror!
“Aaaaahhhhh!”
“What are you doing in MY library?”
I sprinted round the library. What would happen next…

ReplyDeleteyour the only one who has commented one my 100 word challenge because the 100 word challenge team has not commened yet
:-( I shall contact the 100wc to let them know - there's been a few of our 100wc entries that haven't had any comments from Team 100wc this week and that's very disappointing - your work is terrific and deserves to be read! Mr K :-)
ReplyDeletethank you
ReplyDeleteI wrote a comment for Mollys 100 word challenge but I don`t think you got it should I write it again to her?
I think it's on there now - didn't approve it straight away as I was cooking dinner! :-)
DeleteWell done Chloe. What a scary situation. I wonder who the voice belonged to? You build the tension well. Try varying your sentence starters by starting with a verb or an adverb.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the 100 WC.

Well done Chloe! I like some of the describing words in there like 'silently and 'slowly'. Also I like the verbs in there too, (e.g slammed and sprinted) :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe next time you could add in a semi-colon?
One of the best I've read, well done! :) :)
That was the most cool adventure @ the library. -Khatira & Jayden

ReplyDeleteWhoah! That was pretty scary and creative. I can't wait to see what happens next.
