It is about a young boy called Thomas Ward who is the seventh son of a seventh son therefore he has to fight the dark with his master, John Gregory.(eg. Mother Malkin who is a very powerful witch,The Bane ,Morwena who is a very powerful waterwitch and The Devil) I like these books because they can be very bloodthirsty and gory. My favourite character is Alice the daughter of The Devil because she has turned away from the dark and she says she is good now.she is very mysterious.

I think it should be Harry Potter and the deathly hallows, because it is the last one so everything ends in it and it is a very good film and the book is even better.

    Hello Mr K!
I think you should put 'The Animals Of Farthing Wood' on the book shelf. You should do this because it is a briliant book and it's something everyone will remember!
Also I beleave this because it is often funny but dosen't over do it and makes sure to get the facts in.
So that's what I think you should put on the book shelf.
I hope you put it on and let everyone read it,
    Ester

  9. Well over the Easter Holidays I read the trilogy of The Hunger Games. I couldn't put them down. Fantastic. A little cruesome in places, but full of action. So I would say they're my favourite books. I look forward to reading some of your reviews. You never know they might top it. Mrs Daly-Smith

I think Harry potter and the Deathly Hallows should go on the book shelf. It is really good book because Harry defeats Voldemort and Harry, Ron and Hermoine destroy the horcruxes.

  11. I think 'A beautiful lie' by Irfan Master should go on the shelf because from the first sentence you can't wait to read on! It contains the perfect balance of truth and fiction. You can forget that it's a story at all it's so good. It makes you wonder if one small thing can cause something so dramatic. I love the way he speaks so humbly after acting so stupidly. I hope you all like it!

My favourite book is Gangsta Granny. It is extraordinary because it's about a granny who is a gangster who robs stores for jewellery and diamonds! I found it a very different book and really funny - I love comedy books. I loved her as a character and would like to know her in real life! There is a sad twist that she has cancer and it has a sad ending.

My favorite book would have to be 'The Crowfield Curse by Pat Walsh. The book is about a boy called William who lives in Crowfield Abbey. He finds out about an angel who mysteriously died a long time ago and was buried in a wood near the abbey. Knowing about the Crowfield curse William decides to investigate with a magical creture called a Hob he found with a broken leg in the woods. I think it should go on the bookshelf because it is a brilliant spooky book and anybody over 8 would love it

My favourite book is: Big nate strikes again! I liked how they set the pages of the book out using comic strips as illustration. Big nate strikes again is written by: Lincoln Peirce, he is a cartoonist/writer.

Nate has always hated Gina, she is a girl in Nate's school, she is clever and boastful! Nate was excited when he was picked for team captain of a indoor school sport called fleeceball. However, Nate's excitement was turned upside down when he found out that Gina was part of the fleeceball team and that they would have to work together!

I enjoyed this book because, it was full of humour, laughs and sport! This book is suitable for children between nine and eleven years of age.

If you want to find out who won the match you will have to read all the book to find out.
