  3. Hello Alex,

Your monkey bird creature seems to be very interesting. Having been found in the Amazon sets the scene well when you describe how few are now left. With human activity reducing the Amazon, this would be a problem for a number of species.

Your description of the monkey bird is quite good. With the ability to fly, swing from trees, and dive in the deep blue sea, perhaps there are more than five left only waiting to be discovered.

I hope you keep entering the 100WC.

  5. Hello Alex,

This is a wonderful and well thought out descriptive account of your animal for the Night Zoo Keeper. I like how you have combined your imagination with known facts about the impact of human behaviour on rainforests and the animal kingdom.

Thank you for sharing your work with the 100wc.

  6. Awww! The beginning where you said that you hope he picks you as the monkey zookeeper was so sweet! Why did you want to write about a monkey bird? I loved your post! :D
