ReplyDeleteOur adventure has begun! We have driven down from Aberdeen to spend the night at Stafford. Tomorrow we will continue our journey to Southampton and will be boarding the Queen Elizabeth on Wednesday to begin our cruise to the Mediterranean. Looking forward to reading all your comments. ReplyDeleteUp early this morning, very excited! This is a special day for us, it was 45 years ago to-day that we got married and neither of us have been abroad with the exception of five days in Dublin the year we retired, so we are really looking forward to getting just a glimpse of some of the places we have only read about or seem on television before.

ReplyDeleteWe had a surprise visitor on board this afternoon for a tour of the ship and to unveil a plaque. this is a photograph of her leaving the ship. Who do you think it was?
