Welcome to the Ash Class blog!


Hello and welcome to the Ash Class blog!

In this blog we will share what we've been up to in class, so you'll be able to read some of our work and also see photos (and maybe videos!) of our work here at Greenfields Primary School.

We are a year five class and our current topic is Attack and Defend. In this topic we've been learning about things like the Battle of Hastings, the Bayeaux Tapestry and the different types of castles there are (hopefully we'll be visiting a castle soon!).

At the moment we are also learning to use Scratch in our ICT lessons. Scratch is a programming software and we are hoping to use it to make video games, using knights and castles as our theme.

You can follow our blog using some of the options on the right-hand side. On the left-hand of the page you can see where our blog's visitors are from - make sure you visit us when you go on holiday, then we'll get more pins on our globe and add more flags to our collection!

We hope you enjoy our blog - feel free to leave comments, they will appear once they've been moderated by Mr K!

    Hi Sam - it's www.revolvermaps.com, then click on 'Get your Globe' on the menu across the top. Happy blogging!

    Just follow the instructions! Set the globe up as you want it and then you need to copy the code. On your blog you can add a gadget - choose the 'html' one and copy the code in there - it should then appear on your blog...

    hi Mr Kenyon + Ash.I did not reconise samb in that picture.It took me a while to get on here but I managed to.And it also took me a while to find how to write on the blog.THE BLOG IS GREAT! Even though it was jamming but it might just be my computer. From Matty!

      Yes, definitely - you could also look at adding stuff like scores, etc - I think that's on one of the Scratchcards we looked at.

      Hi Mol - does the screen come up asking you to put the code in? If not we can sort it in school next week. Or follow the blog using a googlemail or yahoo mail account, like Mya & Lauren have.

    Mr Kenjon, on tutpup i'm on the top of the leader board! I just can't belive it, before I couldn't even play! But now I've found out how to work it i'm on it every day! I might blow up the computer if I carry on playing 24/71

    i have don it now its called dylanwildingscrazzyblog.blogspot.com im trying to figer out how to get more gadgets it only gives me 1 page and i cant fid the globe or the flag counter and i serched for it
